Anyone who doesn't believe this College Football Playoff experiment is going well is just stubborn in their traditions and thoughts. The on-campus games have been great, more teams are playing meaningful games late in the year, and fewer players are opting out because of what's at stake during the postseason.

These games have had more electric atmospheres as well -- especially the CFP National Championship game that's taken on a bit of poor man's Super Bowl vibe with events and performances throughout the weekend at rotating neutral locations. It's always interesting to see what performers are a part of all the action when there are only two teams standing, because the profile of the artists has gotten bigger.

The College Football Playoff just announced the featured performer for this year's CFP National Championship celebration, and it's none other than Mr. Worldwide himself, Pitbull.

According to a release from the CFP, the event will take place on Monday, January 19, outside Hard Rock Stadium from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. ET before the 2026 CFP National Championship. Fans will have the opportunity to experience interactive games, sponsor activations, concessions, and performances by each team’s marching band throughout the day. As previously announced, fans will also enjoy a performance by Latina country rising star Kat Luna.

Pitbull will also be taking part in other charitable events and merchandising opportunities throughout the weekend in Miami, and if you'd like to know more about it, you can go to the College Football Playoff's website to find out more.
