Dwelly Goodwin

Ambitious proptech lettings platform Dwelly has completed its second agency acquisition this year.

The firm has purchased Goodwin Property Services, which is based in Stamford, Lincolnshire.

The deal “reflects the firm’s ambition to build on the landmark growth achieved during 2025, as it continues to scale through the addition of high-quality, service-led lettings businesses”, Dwelly says.

New funds

Goodwin Property oversees a portfolio of 330 fully managed rental properties alongside a residential sales operation, and Founder Simon Burton will continue to support the business. Both sides of the company have been acquired by Dwelly.

Last month, Dwelly bought Peterborough-based Brookdale Property Management, bringing 1,100 fully managed properties into the group.

And last week it announced it had raised £69 million in new funding as part of its ambitious plans to acquire more letting agencies and expand its AI-powered operating platform.

The Goodwin transaction was brokered by Adam Walker, whilst the audit was undertaken by Lets Acquire.

Core identity

Simon Burton, Founder of Goodwin Property (main picture, left), says: “Providing a great service to landlords and home sellers across Stamford and the wider area has always been our key focus at Goodwin, and it’s something that’s shaped the business from the very beginning.

“This core identity was something I simply wasn’t willing to compromise on and, from the outset, it was clear that Dwelly places real importance on maintaining the DNA of the businesses they acquire, whilst introducing the technology and operational support that helps them continue to evolve.”

It’s a deal that will help maintain the acquisition momentum we’ve built consistently over the last year.”

Sam Humphries, Head of M&A at Dwelly (main picture, right), says: “We’re delighted to have acquired another high-quality business so early in 2026 ,and it’s a deal that will help maintain the acquisition momentum we’ve built consistently over the last year.”
