The Crouch End office of Winkworth has been acquired by two highly experienced property professionals, Abbie Greisman and Robert Upton.
Robert has over 30 years’ experience in the property sector, beginning his career as a negotiator in Islington before acquiring and expanding a two-office estate agency in Greenwich and Blackheath into a market-leading three-branch business.
Abbie has over 20 years’ experience in property, predominantly with large corporate agencies. She worked at Savills in residential research, before moving into residential sales in Islington where she was a leading fee earner.
The pair met many years ago while working in estate agency, and are now partners in business, after getting together as a couple eight years ago.
Ideal business balanceAbbie said: “While we considered going independent, meeting Winkworth showed us the franchise offered the ideal balance – the independence of running our own business, backed by the strength and reputation of an established brand, which would have taken years to build on our own.
“Taking over the Crouch End office is a fantastic opportunity for us. We know the North London market so well, having worked and lived there for many years. We want to be embedded in the Crouch End community and play a part in it so local people get to know us and our team and trust us on buying, selling, letting and managing their properties.”
Robert added: “We have both spent our entire professional lives working in property and we look forward to working with Winkworth and the excellent support on offer to help us to run a successful business. We would also like to look to expansion in the future.”
