The sophomore season of Taylor Sheridan’s Landman has come and gone, but the show is still expanding its streaming empire weeks after airing its final episode. Landman aired its Season 2 finale on January 18, and while the show has dipped on Paramount+ streaming charts, it's become #1 in the world on iTunes charts. The series is also available to rent or purchase on other VOD platforms like Prime Video and Apple TV, but it’s quietly becoming an all-time streaming hit for Paramount. Better yet, fans can rest easy knowing the show isn’t going anywhere anytime soon.

It would have been quite surprising to see Paramount cancel Landman after its second season, especially considering the strong viewership numbers. Landman Season 1 broke records on its way to becoming one of the biggest shows ever for Paramount+, and Season 2 improved on this viewership with even stronger numbers. This came despite the show earning scathing reviews from fans, leading to it earning a Rotten 45% on the audience-driven Popcornmeter. The show did earn widespread acclaim from critics, including a Certified Fresh 83% on Rotten Tomatoes. Some fans criticized the show for getting away from some of the Season 1 storylines that hit so well among general audiences.

The cast across both seasons of Landman has been largely the same, but Season 1 did have a Jon Hamm-sized advantage over the sophomore season. Stars Billy Bob Thornton and Ali Larter did return in Season 2 to reprise their roles as Tommy and Angela Norris, and Michelle Randolph (1923) was back to play their daughter, Ainsley. Andy Garcia stepped into a much larger role in Landman Season 2, and it’s expected to continue into the third season.

How Can You Watch Taylor Sheridan’s ‘Landman’?

The first two seasons of Taylor Sheridan’s Landman can be watched with a standard Paramount+ subscription. Fans can also rent or purchase individual episodes of the show on VOD platforms, which has happened enough to propel the show to the top spot on iTunes. The cheapest way to watch Landman is through a Paramount+ subscription, which starts at only $8.99 a month for those willing to watch ads. Ad-free Paramount+ subscriptions start at $13.99, but both are perfectly viable for watching all of Sheridan’s shows.
