Eugenio Suarez is back with the Cincinnati Reds on a one-year, $15 million deal with a $16M mutual option for 2027.
Suarez became a fan favorite while hitting 189 home runs over seven seasons with the Reds from 2015 to 2021.

He could also play third base when the Reds rest everyday third baseman Ke'Bryan Hayes, in addition to first base.

The Reds traded Suarez and Jesse Winker to Seattle before the 2022 season.
Suarez and Winker were sent to the Mariners for outfielder Jake Fraley and right-handed pitchers Justin Dunn, Connor Phillips and Brandon Williamson.
Phillips and Williamson remain on the Reds' 40-man roster.
