Earlier in the week, NBC Sports announced Clark would join its Basketball Night in America coverage, appearing on-site for select NBA broadcasts on NBC. Her first assignment came from Madison Square Garden, where the Los Angeles Lakers faced the New York Knicks.

Clark is stepping into a broadcast role despite being in the early stages of her professional playing career. She provided pregame commentary alongside studio host Maria Taylor and analysts Carmelo Anthony, Vince Carter and Tracy McGrady.

She embraced the new role and expressed excitement about joining the NBC team.

“I’m really excited to be part of the Basketball Night in America crew this season,” Clark said in a statement. “Carmelo, Vince and Tracy are legends of the game and Maria is a true professional. It will be really fun to join them a few times this season.”

Clark also addressed ongoing collective bargaining agreement negotiations in the WNBA, calling the moment significant beyond just her league.

“Honestly, I don’t think it’s just a big moment for the WNBA, I think all of women’s sports,” she said. “I truly do believe we’re going to get something done here in the next couple of weeks.”
